“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
– The Bhagavad Gita
Meet Me
Picture this: a short, shy 14-year-old, cross-legged in her parents’ camper van, eyes closed, trying to meditate with a library cassette tape (does anyone remember those?). Between snack cravings and thoughts like, “Am I doing this right?” a tiny spark of stillness appeared. That spark stuck.
Now, as a mother, partner, mentor, and guide, Yoga and meditation are the threads that weave through my life. What started as a curious teen’s experiment has become a lifelong pursuit of balance, grace, and the occasional humbling crow pose.

What I Offer
My work branches out in three sacred directions: Sacred Yoga, Sacred Elders, and Sacred Self. Think of them as the yogic equivalent of a choose-your-own-adventure novel, but with less peril and more inner peace. Each path is designed to meet you right where you are—whether you’re gracefully flowing through life or barely holding it together with duct tape and a prayer. Wherever you are on your journey, there’s space for you here. Sacredly, of course.
Sacred Yoga

Through Sacred Yoga, I offer a holistic journey for groups—combining asana, restorative practices, pranayama, meditation, and a touch of the sacred to bring it all together. Whether in classes, workshops, trainings and retreats, each offering is crafted to honour the beautiful relationships of your body, mind, and spirit.
Sacred Elders

With over 15 years of teaching Yoga to seniors, Sacred Elders is where gentle movement meets the wisdom of age—like a collaboration between your body and soul, with me as the slightly overexcited director. Blending yoga, psychology, and meditation, this offering is all about supporting conscious aging.
Sacred Self

Sacred Self offers personalized Integrative Yoga sessions that blend ancient yogic wisdom with modern science. Tailored to your needs, these sessions support physical well-being, emotional resilience, and spiritual alignment through Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Be it for healing, inner peace, or personal growth, Sacred Self nurtures your true self.

Creating the Balance to Live By
In yoga, balance is much more than standing on one leg without wobbling — it’s a principle for living. I learned this truth in my own life, and later, I saw it come alive in one of my clients’ stories. Both experiences taught me that balance is not about the “right time” magically arriving —…
One Root, Two Branches: Exploring the Complementary Wisdom of Restorative and Yin Yoga
In the quiet landscape of slow yoga, two practices offer us profound tools for healing, insight, and transformation: Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga. While they both invite us to slow down, become still, and turn inward, their practices, intentions and effects on the body and mind are wonderfully distinct.
Often conflated as the same techniques,…
When the Sun Stops: Pause the doing to feel the being—just like the sun.
This moment, suspended between seasons, carries a wisdom. In a culture that equates worth with output and presence with productivity, the solstice offers a rare invitation to stop. Not from depletion, or collapse, but from reverence. To experience the wholeness of a moment that asks nothing from us. To remember what it is to simply…

I live and work on Treaty 7 territory, in Mînî hrpa (Banff), meaning “the waterfalls.” These are the sacred lands of the Niitsitapi from the Blackfoot Confederacy, of whom the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations are part; the Îyârhe Nakoda of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; the Tsuut’ina First Nation; and the Métis Nation of Alberta and many others. Their histories, languages, and cultures established the heartbeat of this land and their continued, unrestricted presence is fundamental to the fabric of our contemporary communities.
