About Me

Sacred Practices that Inspire

When I first stepped onto a Yoga mat in 2003, I had no idea I was opening the door to a cosmic plot twist. Back then I was just a curious novice, probably thinking more about whether my leggings were accidentally see-through than about “the path to transformation.” Fast forward, and here I am—neck-deep in Tantric philosophy, teaching others to see their bodies not as flawed projects but as sacred, divine masterpieces (with the occasional creaky hinge).

Yoga became my cheeky yet patient guide, teaching me to live with an open heart, a grounded spirit, and just enough balance to survive tree pose. My work is about holding space for others to reconnect with their inner light, awaken their healing potential, and discover the pure joy of *being*. Whether you’re limber as a rubber band or barely willing to bend, I’m here to invite you onto the mat with curiosity, compassion, and maybe a little rebellion.

Rooted in Tantric philosophy, my teaching isn’t about perfecting poses or touching your toes—it’s about prana, our life-force energy. I help students unblock stuck energy (the kind that screams at you during rush hour) and restore flow so they feel alive, connected, and at peace. My approach blends ancient wisdom with modern science, like biomechanics and neuroscience, proving that Yoga is just as much for the mind as it is for the hamstrings.

At the heart of it all is sacredness—not the stiff, serious kind, but the messy, glorious, human kind. I believe healing comes from remembering that we’re already whole and divine, no matter how many emails we’ve ignored. My job is simply to guide people back to that truth—through laughter, discipline, and the occasional joyful wobble.

So, if you’re here to find your inner light, balance your chakras, or just figure out what the heck “koshas” are, welcome. Let’s make it sacred—and a little bit fun.

Credentials

Ah, the credentials. Let’s get those out of the way first, shall we? I’ve earned the shiny yoga acronyms—E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, CYA-YT—and I’m a certified Brain Longevity® Specialist, which basically means I can help you keep your mind sharp enough to remember where you left your phone. I’ve spent years studying with some truly brilliant teachers—Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu, Karuna Erikson, Judith Hanson Lasater, Martin Kirk, and a few others— who somehow managed not to roll their eyes as I asked “just one more question.”

Beyond the official titles and pieces of paper, I’ve taken a heart-first diveinto the deep end of Ayurvedic principles, psychology (eastern d western, naturally), biomechanics, and somatic healing. Think of it as Yoga’s greatest hits, but with added depth and a side of existential curiosity.

My yogic foundation is firmly rooted in the rich Tantric traditions of Akhanda Yoga and Anusara Yoga, along with the mind-bending wisdom of the Bihar School of Yoga texts. It’s a spiritual toolbox that’s equal parts ancient scripture and practical magic.
